Upgrading the look of your Sauna is most easily accomplished by upgrading the sauna door itself. Something as simple as going from a wooden sauna door with a small glass window to a full glass Sauna Door will significantly upgrade the overall look and feel of your Sauna room, like a new coat of paint on an old wall.

Saunas are typically built of tongue and groove material, both inside and out. The wood inside your sauna should not be stained, or painted in any way. While the wood on the exterior of the sauna can be painted, often times it is left in it’s natural appearance. This leaves an excellent opportunity to make the door of your sauna the feature of your room. An all glass sauna door vs a wood sauna door is a common debate between sauna builders and there are many reasons why a glass door is actually better, one of the first being cost. We’re a company with deep Finnish roots—nearly every member of our team grew up with a sauna in the home and continues to use one today. President John Raisanen’s father brought Finnleo to Cokato, Minnesota in the 1980s, and Sauna Supply Company is now located just down the road from the Sauna360 factory. What do you have on display in your showroom?

Our sauna showroom is always evolving, with new saunas, heaters, and products regularly added—but you can consistently expect to see 8 to 12 saunas on display. This includes a variety of custom indoor and outdoor saunas, modular kits, and infrared models.

We also feature a large selection of sauna heaters—both electric and wood-fired—on display and available for purchase.

To help you make the right choices, we offer a range of wood and door samples so you can see, touch, and compare the options that best match your vision.

Do you stock saunas & parts?

We do carry saunas, material, heaters (electric and wood-fired), sauna doors, and other parts at all times. Custom saunas have a lead time, but once the project is started we finish it within a couple of days.

Depending on scarcity our stock models vary throughout the year. Call us at 612.505.9700 to see if your desired sauna is in stock.

Can I throw water on my sauna heater?

Yes! All sauna heaters that are UL listed (in the United States) are designed so that you can throw water on them. This includes traditional indoor and outdoor saunas.

Why work with Sauna Supply Co. when I can just buy online for less?

Fair question. Yes, you’ll find cheaper saunas online.

The difference? When your heater throws an error code or your electrician has questions about the disconnect placement, we pick up the phone.

We use saunas daily. We know the difference between furniture-grade cedar and cedar that will work in the sauna. We know how to design saunas because we grew up with them in the home.

Our installers have worked in every weird basement layout in the Twin Cities. They finish in two to three days and clean up after they’re done. When something needs troubleshooting five years down the road, we’re still here with parts in stock and answers that actually help.

Plus, you can try before you buy. Free sauna session in our showroom – private room, shower included. You’ll know within 20 minutes if it’s right.

Can I try a sauna before I buy one?

Yes! We built a custom traditional cedar sauna in our showroom so that you could come and try it! It’s in a room with a shower so that you can clean off after you’re done.
