The Finnleo Himalaya is a rock tower sauna heater with over 210 lbs of rock, giving it a very unique look and feel to any sauna space.
The Himalaya delivers on elite sauna performance. It’s designed so that you can customize your sauna experience in four different ways :
This is done with a combination of the 210 Vulcanite Rock mass, and the Biowater Technique Tank that comes standard with every Himalaya Heater. Simply put water in the tank as the sauna is heating up to create a higher humidity experience.
Higher humidity creates a “softer” heat in the sauna, making it easier to breathe, while still feeling hot in the sauna.
The Biowater Tank is optional to use, so if you want a hot and dry sauna, you can get that too.
One of the biggest benefits of the Himalaya Heater is the SaunaLogic 2 Wifi Control that comes with it (a non-wifi option is available too). It allows you to have full control over your sauna temperature, and can be controlled with your smartphone. Want your sauna to be warmed when you get home from work? Not a problem with the Sauna Logic app.
The Himalaya Rock Tower Heater sits on the floor. It can be placed in the corner of the sauna, center wall, or center of the sauna.
The Himalaya comes in 7kW and 9kW. 7kW covers 175-350 cubic feet of sauna and the 9kW covers 310-500 cubic feet. Available in both single phase and three phase power.

The Designer is the traditional wall mounted heater Finnleo has had for years. Long known for it’s high quality construction and durability, it has recently been redesigned in a sleek, modern stainless steel black shell. It is very common for people to use the same Designer heater daily for 20-30 years. We stock replacement elements, and have a technical support team available to help with any issues that may arise.
Control : Available with the SaunaLogic 2.0 control (with mobile app for remote control/scheduling) or the classic knob controls (B-Series) on the bottom of the unit.
Placement : Mounted to the wall with brackets.
Built for sauna rooms in sizes of 100 cubic feet to 425 cubic feet. Available in 4.5 kW, 6 kW, and 8kW.
The Laava heater is a big sauna heater, designed for commercial sized sauna rooms.
Control : Available with the SaunaLogic 2.0 commercial control (with mobile app for remote controlling/ scheduling). The SL2-C control allows for 60 minute or up to 24 hour timer (perfect for a gym/ spa where the sauna is used all day). The scheduling feature with the Sl2-C control is convenient, just set the sauna heater to turn on during your gym/ spa hours so it’s one less thing you have to worry about. You can get the optional ON/ OFF button so commercial owners can control the temp and alleviate headaches from customers messing up or messing with the settings.

The Finnleo Laava Heater comes in 10.5 kW, 12kW, and 14kW. Built for sauna room sizes of 390 to 950 cubic feet.
The Magma heater is our largest heater, designed for biggest commercial sized sauna rooms.

SaunaLogic 2.0 Specs
What is the BioWater Technique Water Tank and why would I want it?
What is it? – The BWT tank is a stainless tank placed within the rocks & elements of the heater. You pour water (add essential oils for additional benefits and aroma) into the tank before turning on the heater, and as it warms up, the water evaporates into the room raising the humidity levels in the sauna room.
Why do I want it? – By raising the humidity levels in the room, you “feel” more heat at a lower temperature. When throwing water on the rocks to produce steam, it hits you gentler. This is not to be mistaken with a lesser sauna experience, but rather gives you the option for different sauna experience.
All Finnleo Sauna Heaters use Vulcanite Rock. With a high metal content, the Vulcanite Rock holds heat very well. The durable, igneous (meaning it formed from lava/magma) rock does not break apart easily under heat. It is odorless, safe, looks great, and most importantly gives a great steam.
Vulcanite Sauna Rock Notes :
*All sauna rocks eventually break apart, and need replacing (With Vulcanite rock – we are talking about years, even with heavy use and steam). If heater isn’t working how it once was or you are having troubles with the heater tripping, it is a good idea to check the rocks. If you see a lot of smaller broken pieces jammed up at the bottom, that is probably the culprit.
