What Size Steam Generator Do I Need?

We carry both 208 volt and 240 volt steam generators for steam rooms of nearly any size. Our steam generators can be “ganged” together, all running from one control unit for larger steam rooms.

To calculate the correct size generator, you’ll need to determine your room cubic footage:

Multiple the length, width and height of the room. This number should be done in feet.

For rooms made of natural stone (such as Marble, Granite, Travertine, Slate, and Porcelain tile), multiply the cubic volume by 1.75 (stone requires more power to heat).

Ceiling heights over 8 feet may result in temperatures near the ceiling being too hot, or uncomfortably cool near the seating area.

240 volt Steam Generators

We carry both 240 volt steam generators as well as 208 volt steam generators. The specifications for the 240 volt generators are listed in the table here.
