Stainles steel sauna heaters that pack a punch with 100 pounds of rocks — all in a compact unit.
The Homecraft Revive Slim changes the game for compact saunas. It’s 13 inches wide and holds 100 pounds of rocks. While other compact heaters force you to choose between space and performance, the Revive Slim delivers the soft, enveloping löyly you’d expect from heaters twice its size.
If you’ve been planning a sauna in your basement, spare bedroom, or corner of the garage—anywhere space is tight—this heater finally makes it possible without compromising on what actually matters: the quality of your sauna experience.
Why the Revive Slim works where other heaters fall short.
The more stone mass in your sauna heater, the better and softer the steam. The Revive Slim offers high stone mass with minimal footprint.
Water rolls across hot stone surfaces instead of hitting elements directly, creating softer steam that lasts longer. You can ladle generously without shortening the heater’s life.
Works in basement corners, tight saunas and indoor closet conversions where standard heaters won’t fit. Maximum rock capacity without eating up floor space.
Built-in airflow chamber reaches temperature in 30-45 minutes despite the thermal mass. Heat goes where it matters.
Meets electrical code requirements your inspector checks.
2-year warranty backed by a company that responds when you call.

The Revive Slim comes in three power levels. Each heater has the same dimensions and rock capacity.
Start with your room’s cubic footage. Multiply length x width x ceiling height. Round up if you’re in an outdoor sauna where heat loss is greater.
For a 4×5 foot sauna with 7-foot ceiling:
4 x 5 x 7 = 140 cubic feet → 4kW works.
For a 4×6 foot sauna with 7-foot ceiling:
4 x 6 x 7 = 168 cubic feet → 5kW is the sweet spot.
For a 5×7 foot sauna with 8-foot ceiling:
5 x 7 x 8 = 280 cubic feet → 6kW is your choice.

The TKE2-2 is Homecraft’s standard digital control, and there’s a reason it’s been their workhorse for years: it does exactly what you need without overthinking it. Three buttons—power, time, temperature. LED display shows current room temp. Set your timer up to 60 minutes, dial in your temperature, walk away. The interface is intuitive enough that guests can operate your sauna without needing a walkthrough, which matters more than you’d think when friends are over and you’re not standing there playing tech support.
The 60-minute timer is both a feature and a limitation depending on how you use your sauna. For most people doing 20-45 minute sessions, it’s perfect and adds a safety shutoff. If you’re the type who likes two-hour sessions, you’ll need to restart it midway through. Homecraft makes a 24-hour timer version (TKE24D) for commercial settings, but for home use, the standard model handles what most people actually do in a sauna.
It’s also CSA and UL certified.
This control does not have a Wi-Fi option (coming soon).

The heater installation itself is straightforward—mount to wall studs, connect the wires, load the rocks. But the electrical circuit must be installed by a licensed electrician to meet code and keep your insurance valid. Most electricians can complete this in 2-3 hours. If you’re comfortable with basic DIY, you can handle the heater mounting and rock loading yourself.
You’ll need to run 240 volt power for the Revive Slim heater. Amperage depends on model. Always refer to heater manual when wiring in electrical.
Plan for 30-45 minutes to reach 180°F depending on your room size, insulation, and outdoor temperature. If you’re in a well-insulated indoor sauna, you’re on the shorter end. If you’re in an outdoor sauna on a February evening, budget at least an hour.
Here in Cokato, MN it costs about 9 cents per kilowatt hour (90 cents an hour). Your rate may vary based on your location, but plan for anywhere from $0.90-$2.00 per hour.
