You know that soft, enveloping steam that makes a great sauna unforgettable? The kind where you can pour water freely and the heat wraps around you instead of just blasting your face? That’s what 200 pounds of rocks gets you—and it’s exactly what the Homecraft Revive delivers.
The Homecraft Revive is a Canadian-made tower heater built around a simple idea: more rocks equal better steam. With 200 pounds of thermal mass, this heater creates authentic Finnish sauna experiences that modern equipment rarely delivers. The innovative air-flow chamber protects heating elements while circulating heat efficiently, giving you faster warm-up times and consistent performance for decades.
This is a heater for people who actually use their sauna—who understand that great löyly isn’t about cranking temperatures to 200 degrees, it’s about pouring water generously and feeling that soft, enveloping steam. The 100% stainless steel construction and full North American certifications deliver professional-grade quality at a price that makes sense.
The more stone mass in your sauna heater, the better and softer the steam. The Revive Heater offers high stone mass with minimal footprint.
Most heaters expose heating elements directly to water, which accelerates wear. The Revive uses an innovative inner chamber that protects elements from direct contact while improving heat distribution and extending component life.
Every inch of the Revive is crafted from stainless steel in Canada—no shortcuts, no mixed materials, no compromises. This construction holds up to the extreme temperature swings and constant humidity that destroy lesser heaters.
The Revive went through the full gauntlet of UL and CSA certification testing. Your electrician won’t have concerns, your insurance company won’t blink, and you’ll sleep well knowing it was built and tested properly.
That protected air-flow chamber doesn’t just guard the elements—it accelerates the heating process. Hot air moves efficiently through the rock mass and into your sauna room, bringing everything up to temperature consistently.
2-year warranty backed by a company that responds when you call.

The Revive series delivers maximum steam production with its signature 200-pound rock capacity. All three models share the same high-quality construction and innovative air-flow design, sized to match different sauna volumes.
The TKE2-2 is Homecraft’s standard digital control, and there’s a reason it’s been their workhorse for years: it does exactly what you need without overthinking it. Three buttons—power, time, temperature. LED display shows current room temp. Set your timer up to 60 minutes, dial in your temperature, walk away. The interface is intuitive enough that guests can operate your sauna without needing a walkthrough, which matters more than you’d think when friends are over and you’re not standing there playing tech support.
The 60-minute timer is both a feature and a limitation depending on how you use your sauna. For most people doing 20-45 minute sessions, it’s perfect and adds a safety shutoff. If you’re the type who likes two-hour sessions, you’ll need to restart it midway through. Homecraft makes a 24-hour timer version (TKE24D) for commercial settings, but for home use, the standard model handles what most people actually do in a sauna.
It’s also CSA and UL certified.
This control does not have a Wi-Fi option (coming soon).
The Revive carries full ETL, CSA, and UL 875 certification, which means it’s been tested to meet stringent North American safety standards. This isn’t just a nice-to-have—it’s required for legal installation in most jurisdictions and typically required by insurance companies.
These certifications cover everything from electrical safety to thermal performance to structural integrity. The testing process costs manufacturers tens of thousands of dollars, which is why many imported heaters skip it. Homecraft invested in the full certification process because they knew it was the right thing to do.
The heater includes built-in safety features like high-limit switches that shut down operation if temperatures exceed safe levels. The 60-minute timer on the standard control also serves as a safety feature, ensuring the heater doesn’t run indefinitely if someone forgets to turn it off.

Yes, and this isn’t the place to cut corners. The heater requires a dedicated high-voltage circuit installed by a certified electrician. Most jurisdictions require permits and inspections for this work. Professional installation typically runs $400-1,200 depending on your setup’s complexity—wire run length, panel upgrades needed, etc.
The Revive Heater requires 240 volt power, amperage depends on model. Always refer to the instruction manual for wiring.
It comes down to your sauna’s volume in cubic feet. Measure length x width x ceiling height, then match it to the coverage ranges: 6kW covers 200-300 cu ft, 7.5kW covers 250-370 cu ft, and 9kW handles 325-450 cu ft. For outdoor saunas or spaces with lots of glass, we typically recommend going up one size. Call us at (612) 505-9700 and we’ll help you size it correctly for your specific situation.
The Revive Heater comes with a two year warranty from Homecraft.
Plan on about an hour for the Revive to reach full temperature. The large rock mass takes time to heat thoroughly—that’s actually what makes the steam so good. Think of it like a cast iron pan: it takes longer to heat, but once it’s there, it holds and distributes heat beautifully. Many customers start their heater when they get home from work, then enjoy their sauna after dinner.
